Wyndham Garden Playa Del Carmen Hotel

My partner and I recently stayed at Wyndham Garden for 10 nights. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of hot and cold options. The AC allowed us to customize the temperature to our liking. We took advantage of the affordable bike rentals and loved the convenient location. It's tucked away in a more private area but just a quick 3-minute drive from the famous 5th Avenue. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The daily housekeeping kept our room fresh and clean. The pool area was stunning, and the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel were top-notch. We can't wait to come back!

The hotel's location is ideal, situated within easy reach of two different beach clubs. It's in a great tourist area of Mexico, but away from the hustle and bustle of loud clubs. The rooms are clean and contemporary with lovely finishing touches in the bathroom. The service is exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff, while the breakfast is delicious and varied. Guests can enjoy the pool, fitness area, business center, and free Wi-Fi!

The hotel could benefit from more pool towels available for guests to use.

The hotel's location was excellent, as it was close to many great restaurants and the main plaza, but still far away from the hustle and bustle of 5th avenue down at the beach. Additionally, the hotel facilities were top-notch, with a spacious room, clean and inviting in-ground pool, and a nice gym room where I could work out. The staff were also very accommodating and worked with me when I needed a refund for my reservation.

The pool area was a great place to relax in the sun or shade, and the small pool was perfect for cooling off. The convenient location made it easy to walk to the main tourist area in just 10 minutes. The buffet breakfast offered a good variety of options. Staff members Gabriella and Cecelia were friendly and helpful, adding to the positive experience.

The service at the hotel is friendly and helpful, as seen from Cesar at the front desk who assisted guests with various requests, including a parking ticket issue. Additionally, the breakfast provided is sufficient to start the day.

There are some shortcomings in this hotel. The layout of the corridors can be a bit confusing and clinical, which may detract from the overall experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The location in a quiet area allowed us to relax and unwind, and the staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was soundproofed, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. We also appreciated the in-room air conditioning, which kept us cool during the hot days. The breakfast buffet had a variety of tasty options, and we particularly enjoyed the snack bar by the pool. The Wi-Fi worked well, allowing us to stay connected during our stay.
